We've had two school closings in on week, Monday and Friday. Oh where oh where has Spring gone? Monday was okay because there was a ton of snow and the kids got to go outside and play twice. But today is just rediculous. It's cold out, a super strong wind and all icy. There is no fun in this. The kids are watching a movie, which I'm sure will happen again today.
Izzy is expressing herself on the last day she can be called 1! I was trying to get her diaper changed and she was pouting in the corner, not wanting to come by me. I was on the phone with my sister as I told Izzy she isn't 2 until tomorrow and my sister commented that she thought Izzy had the 2 thing down. More and more I have to agree. Last Friday she figured out how to open doors so we had to buy some of the white knobber things that go on the doorknobs so she can't open them. We have them on the outside doors and the two storeroom doors. As if it wasn't a chore to keep up with her before, now she can get in to the kids' rooms, so I constantly have to know where she is so that she's not in one of their rooms.
